John Russo is a former Creative Director for a Fortune 500 company. A past member of the American Management Association, he lectured on design throughout the world and contributed numerous articles to design publications. His position required extensive travel resulting in unique experiences which gave him an appreciation for people and customs throughout the United States and abroad. He draws on these experiences to add character and dimension to his stories. John has had a number of short stories published and has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize Award and a Derringer. One of his short stories was a runner-up in the 71st Writers Digest Short Story Contest in 2003. His debut mystery novel, The Bennie Arnoldo File, was published in hardcover in 2003 by Five Star Publishing. His second novel, Indian Givers, was published in 2005, and his next novel, The Vandenberg Diamonds, was published in December, 2006, by Twilight Times Books; and both of these novels are available now in ebook format. His novel Murder On The Coral Queen was published in print in 2008, and is now available as an ebook version as well. The Legacy and Driscoll's Eye were published in 2010. He has also had two short stories included in anthologies published in 2005 and 2006 by Level Best Books. He is a member of the Mystery Writers of America, The International Association of Crime Writers and Sisters in Crime.
